Your child is working hard to train for physical performance on the court, but their mental performance is just as important to their success. In this 4 session course, young tennis players will have the opportunity to: - Reduce the impact that stress and anxiety has on their performance - Boost their confidence and mental toughness - Increase their ability to get into the "zone" - Calm their mind to gain an advantage on and off the court - Gain more control and awareness of their actions and emotions - Enhance their performance During this course, your child will learn what it means to be a mindful athlete as we explore awareness of breath, body, thoughts, emotions, and the external environment. We will also learn the importance of self-care, and how to improve self-confidence. And best of all, all of these techniques to strengthen their mental performance can be applied on the court and in everyday life. The first session will be online and both children and parents are expected to attend. When strengthening mental performance, it's important for children to have understanding and support from their parents. The remaining three sessions will be held in-person with Christine and your children in a safe and supportive environment. This course is for middle school age children.
